michigan governor rick snyder saw republicans in his state legislature pass a bill to allow guns in schools and day care centers. the bill was passed one day before the tragedy in newtown, connecticut. today the republican governor vetoed the bill. according to the detroit news, snyder vetoed the bill because it wouldn't allow schools and other public locations to opt out of its provisions. in the past 24 hours, republican members of congress said that some gun restrictions are worth looking into. senator susan collins of maine, congressman charlie dent of pennsylvania and lindsey graham of south carolina, they are all pro-gun. they are all open to looking at gun control solutions. there is also congressman jack kingston of georgia. in the past, this gentleman has voted to cut down the waiting period, the number of days for gun purchases. he vetoed -- or should i say he voted for broader concealed to carry weapons laws. the nra gave kingston an "a" rating for his voting record today. today this staunch advocate opened the door for change. >> we see a huge problem like this, and it's a probl
